Our
Story
When I was little, I would often times bring home animals that were in sick, poor or neglected condition. My parents were always so upset with me, but if I saw an animal in need I was never able to leave it behind... that has carried into my adult life but gone from kittens to 2,000lb horses.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to save, rescue, and rehabilitate the animals who need it most. Many of these gentle giants are overlooked, abandoned, neglected, or bound for uncertain futures.
Second Chance Drafts started with our two Belgian mares, Lady May and Right as Rain. They were our inspiration and reason to start rescuing.
