Their time with us was a gift. They left hoof prints on our hearts that will never fade. Though our barn feels emptier, we find comfort knowing they are now running free together — strong, healthy, and whole again.

Lady was the picture of grace and gentleness, a true reminder of the love and wisdom that our older drafts carry in their hearts. Lady was the founding horse that inspired us to rescue. She was also Kodys heart horse.

Huckleberry

2025

Huckleberry’s story was one of courage — rescued from an unthinkable fate, he finally knew safety, kindness, and a full belly. Huckleberry spent more than 75% of his time laying down due to advanced DSLD. His body told him it was done, so we gave him his wings.
